Health Reform!

Hello, just days ago comprehensive health insurance reform passed the house, and the amendments to fix some problems to it have also been passed. This fight has lasted quite a will and we have heard a lot of spin on both sides of the aisle.

We have heard that health reform is a plot to: kill old people, kill ex-presidents, control population, provide federal funding for abortions, inject more government control into the lives of American's, decide when people live or die, throw people in jail for not obtaining private health insurance, etc and many more.

Some thing will never change, one of them being the obstructionist tactics of the far right and the new (and quite fantastic self labeled) party of HELL NO . We have learned that the conservatives true intentions are not even slightly congruent with the best interests of the American people. Tell me what is bad about legislating fairness in an exceedingly unfair and corrupt industry that has been given the unbelievable ability to legally and without consequence essentially kill people! Health care should have always been something handled exclusively between patients and doctors. Health insurance companies role in this should have been writing checks and fulfilling their contractual obligations to their customers.

That word, 'customers' has been relabeled and redefined in the not so distant past, we are basically numbers. It has been this way for quite a while in which we are a given, something that is a basic and fundamental truth. People need doctors and treatment when sick. We have had backs and bills turned right in front of our eyes, however now that change has occurred, there are some who are angry about it!

I wonder how many of those protesters don't have health insurance, wonder how many of them have had a loved one that was denied an 'experimental' yet life saving treatment? Everyone is upset with the old system, the conservatives the liberals, EVERYONE! Yet no one proposes any solution to the problem of health insurance abuses. This is what the far right fringe always offers, violence and hate when they do not get their way. This is not a government takeover, this is the role of government to protect Americans.

Once the 'death panels' never converge and rates become lower (as legally required) people will jump for joy that these patriots fought tooth and nail for this legislation. I solute the brave liberals and moderates for supporting this legislation, soon we will not be at risk for losing our coverage as a result of getting sick, needing an expensive medication, getting married or having a child.

To be continued...

Update V 2.0

Hello everyone! I don't know what's happened to the traffic on this site?! I got 70,000 hits last week?! I'm not quite sure what is driving traffic here but I appreciate it! But in other news...

It's 2010. We can now say "Twenny Ten" which is awesome. It's hardly snowed in north eastern Ohio at all and I don't really know why but I'm not complaining! I am also buying a new surround sound system soon! Any pointers or suggestions?

Some ideas... We will see!

Thanks for visiting!

FireFox backspace issue

Has anyone downloaded Fire Fox and wondered why the backspace doesn't go the the previous page anymore? Well, someone screwed something up. Luckily there is a SIMPLE fix.

Type this into your address bar and just this: "about:config" without the quotations.

Then scroll down, and find the line that reads "browser.backspace_action" double click the numerical Value and change it to 0.

Then hit backspace, it's fixed!

They will issue a patch soon, what a stupid issue.

Election is over!

Barack Obama is now President Elect Barack Obama.

This is a victory for the Democratic party and a victory for all of us. We have shattered the racial barrier and redefined our countries 232 year old message.

I hope we can all stand together starting January 20th 2009 and aid our countries largest problems. I hope the division we all saw this election quickly dissipates and we ALL work together.

Here is Barack Obama's acceptance and victory speech.

Obama has inherited one of the most troubled economies and global situations in the history of our great country, I wish him luck and I hope, god willing, he is able to do what is best for our Democracy.

The Election!

The election is getting closer! It's almost here. I am obviously an Obama supporter, I feel that he is the best guy for the job, and thus far, most American's agree with me!

McCain has made strategic mistakes in his attempt to rally support back to his side. McCain's campaign is declaring a victory in the last debate? Even conservatives must see that as untrue! It was obviously an Obama victory, McCain is appearing frustrated, angry and cranky. He harmed himself irreparably when he said "economics is not something I've understood as well as I should.".

Are you serious? Are people still entertaining him as our command and chief? I've got nothing against conservative constituents, nothing at all, I just despise conservative politicians! I feel that they mislead and exploit the good people who have values and democracy at heart. McCain isn't a bad person, he is just not fit to run our country. I think the GOP made a horrible decision by choosing McCain as their candidate! Mitt Romney was an OK choice, he had some good points and I was surprised when he didn't get the nomination.

The McCain - Palin campaign is just shooting way to low, they are attacking Obama on personal levels, they are obviously out of ideas. Talk about the issues! Both McCain and Obama have a potentially negative history! You can talk about Bill Ayers or the Keating five! Either way you have negative press on both sides. Prior to this election you never heard a republican say the word's "bio" and "fuel" in the same day, let alone the same sentense. Amazing how someone can change when the public eye is on them.

We all must wake up and realize that McCain is not looking out for our best interest's! I also really hate when they use that damn word "Maverick"! I'm watching the McCain - Palin attempt to gain support thing on CNN. It's making me angry, Palin is an idiot, SHE KNOW'S NOTHING! :(

There are a lot of sad republicans out there, they are sad they can't keep the white house for another 4 years, but why the sadness?! Maybe the 90% agreement with Bush statistic is inacurate, but it's close as hell, I can assure you! I can't trust a man that agreed with the worst (statistically proven) president of ALL time!

I also wanted to say "HaHa!" at all of the moronic republicans who voted for Obama in the Primaries, thinking it would make it a peice of cake for McCain to win, it was a combination of racism, stupidity, and sterotypical attempt to win. It actually backfired in their faces! And how they talk about Ronald Reagan? Seriously? Not dissing on him, but isn't he the one that started this whole deregulation thing? Isn't deregulation the reason we are in this situation in the first place? I really hate how republicans are getting so angry about this election. It's so irritating.

It also makes me angry that McCain chose the most conservative bitch in the world to be his VP! She made sure that women that got raped in her town paid for their own rape kits! What is that?! She also believes that in the event that a female get's raped, or is a victim of incest, they should have the baby! I really can't trust someone that is that myopic! Republicans never appear to care about the average Joe, or Joe 6-pack!

I promise to anyone reading this, when Obama win, and he will, the country will turn around, we will get our of Iraq responsibly and the market will settle. If this doesn't happen, I give up.

Vote Obama!
